![]() The standard tyres on the Sierra are bit balloon-like to look at.....195/65R15 IIRC. I was going to use 16" wheels with 205/55 tyres which would keep the overall diameter almost exactly the same.
I'm just not a fan of huge side walls.

![]() So does mine but I think the correct 15" size is 195/65. The 55 profile of the 16" tyre shouldn't be too low to have an adverse affect on handling should it?
When I said standard I meant for the cars that came with 15" wheels.

![]() The stock sizes on the Sierra are in fact 185/70R13 and 185/65R14, so the 15" size that matches best is 195/55R15. People often get 195/50R15 tyres, they make the speedo overread by 3.4%. 195/65R15 would be 6.4% too slow.
