good point TT, early 1.6 Zetecs had exhaust at front as do the 1.8 and 2.0 litre units but the later 1.25, 1.4 and 1.6 S and SE versions (alloy block built in conjunction with one of the Jap bike companies I think) had inlet at front and exhaust to the rear. A bit of a conundrum .
