good show, wasnt sure how straight forward the m20 would be, ive still got loads of parts left so it makes sense.

cheers ginge, i seen a couple with 4 pot bmw engines, would like to see if the 6 pot is easy....ish to do. im sure it will, hammers and welders etc

When I trial fitted my 4 pot (don’t laugh 1.8 CVH) I recon I could have fitted another two cylinders in easy. I know it is not that easy but you get my drift.

There are people on here with V six’s and eights, anything is possible with good research and engineering.

his engine start is in his blog.


My M8 who lives in Austria bought from the UK, a LHD E39 M5 with the 5L V8 unseen and got his folkes who live across the road from me to collect it for him. I got to sit in it before he had even seen it in the flesh, I got to turn the key and listen to the throbbing V8 before he did... I rubbed it in big style.. It sounded awesome through it's custom headders and exhaust. .. But it costs him abot £3k in road tax in Austria

and i thought tax here was bad!!! v8 would be sweet, they do sound great, but a tad gutsy!! i love the 6 pot noise, like i said ive heaps of bits sitting about, be good to put them to use!

ooh Audi 5cyl turbo............ now thats a noise fookin 'eavy engine IIRC (destroyed 2 quattro's in my yoof)
