5spd 9 is about 34kg, theres not a lot in it with the MT.

The MT75 will take a lot more power, plenty of TurboTechnics cars and Cosworth's running 300BHP. But the BIG BHP Cossies stay with the BW T5 for RWD, in the 4x4's there's a number of peeps playing with modded Skyline Boxes.


I have gone with a Type 9 on mine, but only Cos V6 MT75's are as rare as Rocking Horse teeth.

you seem to have misunderstood, im using a t9 with rs b/housing not the rs 4speed box although the rs 4 speed is a stronger box than the t9 also when i weighed them there was enough difference to make my mind up which box to use Ray
