Roll bar, to weld or not to weld?

Got abit of a dilema, chassis is going in for a blast, zinc coat and a powder coat on wednesday. I really want to know if there is any reason that I shouldnt just weld my roll bar to my chassis?
Also, does the chassis number have to be stamped? Or can I rivit a plate on afterwards?

Chassis no. has to be stamped into the chassis and stamped on a plate riveted to the body somewhere, i put mine on the bulkhead.

You will find that you cant stamp the chassis tubes as they are too thin so i stamped a piece of 5mm then welded that to the chassis.

The only reason not to weld your roll bar in permanently is incase you need to remove it for access, its probably a little stiffer having it welded rather than bolted in anyway
