If your chassis is as per the book and not modified for a fibreglass rear tub, you can't get a fuel tank in or out with the roll bar welded on.

I've got a fiberglass rear tub and fuel tank goes in and out fine!
Should I get the chassis stamped before or after powder coating please?

Depends on how much powder coated is applied, if they do a good job you probs wouldnt see the numbers through the coating

Ask them if they can mask that area off so the no.s stay visible then just paint over it lightly with hammerite

When my rocker cover was powder coated they masked of the breather outlets so its no bother if you ask
