Talking That,ll teach me ,

As i,m now getting close to finishing my build, there was always 1 part of it that I was never really happy with...............

My Fuel line.........I,d fitted a rubber / braided fuel pipe from the tank to the carb, it was well fitted but being totally honest I just wasn,t happy with it, with the thoughts of the IVA looming fairly soon I decided to replace my fuel line with a copper microbore jobbie.....

what a chuffing job.......... with so much of the car now fitted out I ended up with legs in the air , arms in positions you wouldn,t think were possible, so glad I had an adjustable head rivet gun

So......"That,ll teach me"..........should,ve done a proper job to start with

Its all in & fitted now, a few grazed knuckles but I,m alot happier now

cheers
andy

That'll teach you Andy. These things have a way of getting to you until you have to do something about it.
Pleased it's sorted for you now
p.s.skin grows back, and it's far far cheaper than an IVA re-test

It was always in the back of my mind that I wasn,t happy with the fuel line, & you can bet your bottom dollar, that come IVA time it would come back & bite me,
even tho the hose was certified as "Fuel hose" on the paperwork, but not printed on the hose , I would always be worried that it would cause me a problem, so , ripped it out & done a proper job

My knuckles will survive , LOL

cheers
andy

I think he's rumbled.

Looks similar
Same name
Same catch phrase
Ability to build from scrap.

Just the accent .....
