Hi Jb,
The Fuel tank will be earthed with your fixings on the sender and the earth wire so that will be okay. For the breather on the filler pipe will be okay but if you extend the pipe to below the level of the tank then should you ever turn the car over fuel will not escape from the tank via the breather.
