Yes, the MT75 will go onto a zetec engine. There are no special versions of the MT75 with regards the bellhousing only a 4wd and 2wd version on the tail end.

These Mt75 boxes can still be had for £30 or less, my last one was a tenner. The T9's have started fetching silly money. Often selling at over £100.

I was lucky, just before i left for london to see the Redbull X-fighters i looked on eBay and saw a type 9 for £90 in Swansea (On my way) asked how much he wanted he said £75 its yours , well can't complain. as you said they are fetching silly money. no chance of finding any in the scrapies aound here everyone wants them for their MK I and MK II rally escorts.
