SNAP!

I'm glad I'm not the only one using treadplate for the floor. Took forever to abrade away the treads where the chassis tubes butt up to it though.

Hi Jimmy

I am using 1.2mm half hard for the bodywork & used 2mm for the floor n fuel tank.

The rear panel formed a lot easier than I expected & was no trouble at all to make

The floor is well sorted, without the slightest hint of a boing when stepped on .... Probably due the the gazillion rivets used

Not saying 1mm is wrong .... Just a tad lightweight for my own personal taste.

That is a very good price on the 1.2mm alloy, talk about the " luck of the Irish "

I must say, that's a darn good price for the alloy

The last sheet of 1.2mm I bought cost me £47

Best of all .... I promtly cocked it up by cutting the side pannel blanks 10mm too narrow

Just as well it is still useable for other things.
