If you've got the budget then go for the S2000 engine every time, its a fantastic engine and would kick the pants of any Zetec. It also revs to 9.5k and would make an awesome drive. To get the Zetec to that kind of power will cost a lot of money. Try Burton Power website they specialise in Ford engines and tuning.
The S2000 engine is comparable to the Rotary Rx-8 engine, i'm sticking with the rotary because i love the engine. Regards....AndyH
