Here's the sump from the 1993 Mondeo 2.0, with the 15 cm waterline marked out:

For the Type 9 box, the distance from the centre of the input shaft to the bottom of the bell is about 155 mm.

Here's the mod I done to my 1.8 Silvertop Baz



Cut line marked out



Material removed



Job done

I worked out that I had lost aproximately 1/2 litre of oil capacity .... If needed, I could extend the rear of the pan, I'll see what the engine has to say first

wicked just what i needed

i see you have one of them tigs in the background did you get it from lts/ebay how has it been had any trouble with it
just took a gamble and orderd one
