great idea spikehaus
technicly meets are not just for us southwestners but that is like one of the ideas for the future
karting race to raise money for charity was another good one
show meets and car share on the way list is endless

the one thing i want to avoid and one or two others have mentioned is when the last club was forming it went all wrong causing forum members at each others necks
i rember visiting the group to say hi and buy some raffle tickets at stonleigh every one seemed nice and friendly then it turned out there was a lot of people with issues with who was getting involved behind each others backs.
all alot of upset and wasted effort sadly (thanks for thoes that put in the time and effort by the way)

everything has to start somewhere and as i live in the sw and wanted to find and chat to local builders it seemed a logical place to start
who knows if a few smaller local clubs where to form one day thay could all join into one big one
but we all have to start somewhere and the somewhere only needs to be a few blokes willing to turn up at a pub over a pint/coke to talk things trough.

after that we can get all the wheels in motion who knows. the last thing i want to do is tread on someone else's toes

sorry have been busy work,home and been a bit of a push to get some stuff done on the car
been mixed feedback and im not looking to run with this before i can walk with it first so i have made a list to anyone who has sent me thair info
at some point i will be contacting people to arange a meet at a pub for just a drink and a chat.
we all need to start somewhere and we dont want to go all serious if you know what i meen
