I have been thinking about my roll bar and the mention that the harness brackets can fail sva due to their sharp edges.

Would it be ok to take the harness straps from the seat, over the roll bar cross member, then bolt them to the seat back panel behind the seats with some appropriate plates welded in and 7/16 nylocs.

Just an idea.
