The shorter plenum has 2 problems, 1st there is a random block of alloy that was rubbing on the overflow from the thermostat. So that had to be cut away. 2nd, there is a bulge under the plenum for the balance port and PCV outlet. this rubs on the steel fuel rail, so this has been machined down a bit (still to finish it off) So the plenum now fits.

But the line is still too high. So I either get the engine lower, make a custom plenum, or butcher the bonnet.
