Look on the bright side Andy
You may be going over & re doing some jobs that you were happy with at the time .... Could be worse !! At least you are not re building the complete chassis  Yes I imagine all of the finishing bits n bobs are very time consuming. Great to hear that you are almost crossing the finish line
