you will still get the hone mark in the middle of the bore you mostly get ware near the top of the bore near tdc
amost every engine i have ever striped and rebilt has has this from austin7 to modern cars
i had mine in bits hence the new bits going in also bits are cheap as chips i used a local engine remanufactures to sorce mine but ebad also had parts at a fair price
yes you can get cheap engines but thay are almost always of a unknown history
and new ones will need a cat
