![]() Personally, unless for some reason it's impossible. I would always go for EFi
I converted our MK1 golf from carb to EFI. There's not actually that many sensors and most of them are designed to last a very long time. I would find some spare injectors on ebay , perhaps have them cleaned too. There are no real advantages to a carb over a EFI system especialy if you retro fitting it to a car that was never supplied with a carb. TT
