The cheap small spools are not wound too clever, much better to buy a 15kg spool of good stuff like murex etc and try and rig that up..The cheap stuff won't be tested to Loyds doodah regs but stuff like Murex is and covers big stuff like bloody big boats.....or ships if wanna be proper about it

I might be English but my English is pants so I use what ever words pop into my head, I know what I'm saying so that's all that matters.............

I'm actually from outer space and hide my space boat behind the 3rd tree down the lane.
Going to Asda can be amusing as my space boat looks just like a box of cornflakes when the lid is locked.
It runs on neat pee so you should see the look on humans faces when they see me taking a leak into a box of cornflakes.....

I'm worried about you fabby

Bonzo: Many thanks for the offer.
I'm far too impatient and had to pop down to my local welding supplier at lunchtime though

He suggested 0.8 and sent me on my way with a 5kg reel of Murex Bostrand LW1 (whatever that is!).

Well done that man

If it has got BOC/Murex on the box, it'll be good stuff .

You should find that the larger 5kg reel will feed better

Murex is proper stuff but tastes disgusting and damn chewy so suggest just use it for welding, just something I found out you know when you are bored etc...

Damn these pills are good I have never been so serious in my life
