Angry Ahhh!

It seems as tho, gettin a peice of 1220x 2440mm bit of wood to your house is probably the hardest part of the build! was going to start the chassis today aswell!!

LOL, we have all done the sit in it before it's even 1/2 way there bit
Those wishbones from Ginge are a work of art, that guy sure can weld. Nice bloke too!
You can't go far wrong with Andy's chassis kit, I built mine using one, it was all spot on.
Best of luck with the build, keep the piccies coming
Enoch

Smile Great stuff

Firstly, I do not believe that I have welcomed you to the forum yet.

Welcome to the forum

Looks as if you are nearly all set to start the fun bit of building the chassis.

Know what you mean about transporting large sheets of build materials home, it's a real PITA

Sheets of ply, steel & alloy are not the easiest thing to transport in one piece, I certainly miss my old Transit since I sold it.

Love the picture of you sitting in position .... Bet you did make the brum brum noises, even if it was just in your mind

Got to admit it, done the same thing myself at about the same stage .... I guess the little boy within never really goes away .... Errm hang on, when I started my build, I probably was still a wee lad

Haha thank you for your welcomes and "lol's" im pretty sure there will be plenty!!! more pics of silly nature coming ! :-)
guess i should shed a little light on my build
colour plan i would like which i believe to be a colour by Saturn of yellow green isit ? closest i can describe to be kawasaki green :P
engine: 2.0 pinto running some wild cams haven't decided exactly yet !
lightened bottom end
want it revving quite quick!
and the all important port polish as my father does that for a living.
stainless header "hopfully" fabricated by myself
gearbox: Type 9
and to top it off just to get the imagination going i would quite like to carbon wrap the seat pannel and gear tunnel. i believe I've seen it done on here somewhere :-) looks rather nice especially with that fluro green!!
