Hi Dave

I marked mine out on a piece of card first & then used that as a template.

Then cut the patern out of steel with a jigsaw .... Seem to remember having to fettle them a little to make them fit the profile, don't know if that was because of the jigaw cuts or inaccurate pattern thought.

Used 2mm thick Zintec sheet for mine as that was what I had here

To be honest, if you are using alloy sides it is not a particulary critical part of the build.
As long as they are even & look right, things should be fine.

If memory serves me right I don't think the GRP sides need them, could be wrong though !!??
