Maybe some people (me for example) have tremendous passion about building but are less excited about driving it? I can't drive it to or from work as I need a boot. There are sleeping policemen (bumps in the road) everywhere making many routes impassable. I have enjoyed 99 per cent of the build, that's where my interest kind of ends. My Wife says it's because I'm an old git

Default the passion

As far as I understand is that in the uk there are track days were you can take any car even your jag or whatever car it may be and drive around the track for the fun of it now this is a option but its up to you or any other person that wants to do it or not and I'm sorry but age means nothing its just a number as you get older does not mean you can't do things you used to cause you can but like I said its up to your decision and I forgot to say for those track days you don't need a racing license

Be an old git if you want but enjoy your new wheels

I like being an old git
Track days are well expensive and hard going on a road car. I can't imagine for 1 second being tempted to take my beautiful Jaguar on a track. Especially not when tyres are £1000 a set

Each go your own way and I'll go mine, best of luck with what you find, but for your own sake remember times we used to know.

Yes, I like building the car enjoy all the fiddles and the chats on the Forum and meeting the other buddies, but once it is built it is the end of honeymoon. we do not have roads then do not look forward to the horrible winters, need to pay for storage and so on!!!!!!!!!!

i personally love building things and tinkering, will build many more things with wheels after the roadster, something like this only a tad bigger next i think

i think me mother would completely loose it if i took up much more space
