Normally the things they are asking for happen after the iva test, why are dvla offices so shite? You need insurance if you want to drive to iva, so they insure on the vin number. |

![]() I think someone at Leeds Dvla doesn`t know what they are doing, I got a VIN just by asking for one, I was only half way through building my chassis!
What they are asking you for is the procedure for REGISTERING a car, when it`s built & IVA`D, immediately prior to putting it on the road. Dennis.

![]() I had the same response and forms in the post from Chester DVLA. I have filed them away until after I pass IVA. I think you need the rest of the forms to get the registration after IVA, not before.
