![]() I used a conduit bender but packed the dies out with some duct tape to make the tube a bit more of a snug fit, It didn't work out to badly

![]() Dont suppose using conduit is a problem but dont use the galvo stuff as fumes when welding are toxic. Also galv <zinc> plays havoc when it comes into contact with ally.

![]() You could of course just go buy a length of 7/8' 16-14gauge ERW clean mild steel then you'll have no trouble welding or bonding to it.

![]() I'm using 20mm conduit (Again for free) and have just done my bends today, what I did was cut 4 pieces about 1m long then where it says in the book the measurement BEFORE the bend add a bit extra.
I now have 4 90 degree bends which I intend to join by means of an insert into the pipe and weld fully ensuring I grind the galv off and use a mask when welding. alternatively buy the ones on ebay ![]()
