Welcome to our world ! I'm quite new too, so seeing another "rookie" coming is always nice !
If I had to chose one advice it would be this one : If you get the last edition of the book (2007 and after), most of the updates are in it. Anyway, a look at the book amendment section is always good (helped me a lot !) : http://www.haynes.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=2430 If you get a second hand book edited before 2007, the amendment section is then more than recommended ! After spending a fair while on here il deffo be going down the roadster route,, the only reason iv been reading the Ron champion book as it's been infront of me at work just sat there for ages lol
I'm definitely a rookie in every sense lol |

I'm unsure at the minute because thanks to a fellow member I will be picking up pretty much everything il need to get a rolling chassis this weekend so I doubt il buy a donor just parts as and when I need them.
I really like the route that ash has gone down with the Saab turbo as my friend know a lot about those engines and we have a breakers pretty close to us that does everything at a decent price... |
