Plated is fine with me as they will be covered with caps... and stainless bolt threads tend to pick up and are scrap once that happens. We use lots of stainless components and fasteners on our steam turbines at work and I hate working with them lol.

Although a good coating of copperslip or aluminum spray does help alot.

Default Stainless Bolts warning.

A2 -70 are not as strong as 8.8 bpz the nearest is A4-80

Default Stainless Bolts warning.

A2-70 stainless bolts are rated @ 7.0 302 grade
A4-80 stainless bolts are rated @ 8.0 316 grade

I spoke with the tester @ Norwich several years ago when i had my SVA and he insisted that 8.8 was the industry standard minimum for any suspension / steering assembly,

Same as Deanno, I will be interested (8.8 plated steel), but not immediately, only when I'll get the wishbones and rear uprights, I hope in September.
