would save having an extra load of uj's in the system. Would 40x40 or 30x30 be preferable for the pinto mount?

Having similar problems - using a Pinto with the Sierra rubber engine mounts - the steel mounts that go on the chassis rails are book spec, I trial fitted the engine for the first time last weekend - but the steering shaft wants to run through where the engine mount is now...

Don't want to drop the mounts - as I don't want to loose more ground clearance / create any problems with the prop alignment...

I ended up ditching the sierra cast mount and making out out of 5mm plate and a bit of tube.
