Diy powder coating system

It might be worth finding out what sort of temp is needed to bake off the powder. It's my understanding that using a heat gun won't be enough as the material underneath has to heated for the powder to stick, otherwise it just lays over the material and is prone to peeling off. One thing I do know is that if you make a mess of coating the part and you've baked it if you soak it in thinners for a day it all just falls off.

I have been looking at the system advertised in complete kit car for £119 has anybody tried it I quite fancy trying it myself

I've got one works better on ally in my opinion

Thats the dobermans danglers. So this system needs no primer and goes on any metals. then pop it into an oven .job done ???????????????????????????

Yeah basically you gotta key the metal first and use a dedicated oven but I got ideas for that just gotta get a metal box to about 180 degrees and you got your oven

And thats suitable for all brackets ,suspension and engine components.
