so whate the deal with weighing them in.
Do they have to have a hole drilled in.
Think I have about 12-14 of them lying around.
at 1.88 assuming about 1.5kg each for 12 thats errmmm £34!
assuming its no massive hastle finding a scrappy near wellingborough!

If they are empty then the valve will be loose, and as it's an inert gas there is no chance of vapour being an issue.

£1.88/1.5KG that's £1253/T who on earth is payin that for Mild?

I think there has been an error in the maths there

Heavy steel/iron is fetching £260 per tonne in these parts, that's 26p per
kilo

FWIW

My local scrappy will not take any kind of gas cylinder under any circumstances.

The local re-cycle centre will take all types of gas cylinder ..... They just put em in a cage, no idea where they go from there.

39p each then, you could lop the top and bottom off to take them to the scrapper.... But by the time you have destroyed the hacksaw blade your down to pennies, then the fuel your into negative figures...

I'd keep them for bits n bobs like decat pipes/ slit, open a little re-weld into a prop catcher,/ exhaust piping....you never know ....how can tell I'm a hoarder
