I believe Ford recommend a 50/50 mix for winter use. One tip I would impart to anyone, when you first commission a pre-used engine or pre-used cooling parts. Just top the engine up with plain water, run up to temp & once you are happy that there are no leaks & all is fine. Drain the engine down,then add your antifreeze mix. If the waterways of the engine or radiator were particulary grubby it may be worth the addition of a cooling system flushing additive ( Rad flush ) when you first run the engine. Antifreeze is too expensive to waste ![]()
