right chaps thanks for your help/ideas and inspiration!!
I'm going back to basics on this as i have a meter of spare box im going mark the holes and drill them then bolt in my m12 studding so its all nice and accurate at least then i can clamp the box to the frame. shall pop a few pics on later  cheers!
