quick rack cheapy

I get a little concerned when I see a steering rack described as Escort Mk1 / Mk2

The Mk1 rack has imperial threads meaning that the rack extensions will have to made to suit.
No big deal if you are making your own but a real problem if you have already bought the usual metric extensions

It looks very much as if the Rally Design 2.9 rack is a tad cheaper

At least with the Rally design rack you'll know it is definately a Mk2 Escort rack with metric rod ends.
