Talking The crazy world of Bonzo

Just thought I would share this recent incident with you all.

Yet another event in the bizarre world of Bonzo land

It was a nice mild evening a couple of nights back.
We decided to take our little Yorkie out for a nice walk.

Got as far as the cow field midway down our lane & being as the cows have been relocated to another field, we decided to take a short cut across the field so as we could get to the public foot path.

So far so good.

When we got across to the other side of the field we came to the electric fence that keeps the cows away from the public footpath.

Me being the perfect gent, put the sleeve of my padded shirt under the electric fence wire so as my good lady wife could walk under the wire without doing a limbo dance.

Once my good lady was the other side of the fence she promptly grabbed hold of the wire with her bare hands.

Well, I just ducked under the wire & looked at her.

She said, “ What are you looking at me like that for “

I said, “ That was mighty brave of you, just assuming that the fence isn’t switched on “

She said, “ Well, I can’t feel anything so it must be turned off “

I grabbed hold of the wire & got an almighty belt , let go a bit sharply that’s for sure.

We had both forgotten about the fact that my wife has MS & the feeling in her hands comes & goes.

We Had a good old laugh about it ( As we do )

Walking home she said, “ You know, I thought that wire felt a bit funny “

Never dull here, that’s for sure.
