![]() I have built tanks for off roaders in the past that had problems with the fuel getting away from the pick up <sumped or not> , going up really steep hills for to long or racing round in circles had the fuel leaving the end of the pickup pipe for long enough to cause the fuel pump to cavitate.What we did was to have a rubber tube pickup dropping into the tank with a small weight on the end and where ever the g force took the fuel the pickup pipe followed. Early aircraft had
something like it to fly upside down . Just thoughts Bob
