old laptop with com port needed
im looking for an older laptop in working condition with com port
wifi would be a bonus not looking to pay loads just need it for programming mainly doesent need to be pritty  im happy to reinstall operating systems and get it going again if needed

You can also buy a RS232 to USB converter.

up until last year Toshiba still made a range of laptops with rs232, if you are lucky you might be able to get one, we bought a couple at work just before they stopped making them

Have a look for HP NC6000 series laptops - a very popular business laptop that can be picked up cheaply and has RS232, USB and parallel ports and wifi on some models.
