yep rotarys sure drink petrol, the older rx7s used to struggle to get beyond 18mpg and they were tiny. Id quite like an rx8, they seem to be selling for silly little money at the moment but i guess the cost is in running them
 To be honest the gto wasnt that gutsy on fuel, i used to get about 350 miles for 50 litres, as long as i was gentle with it. I once floored it with a full tank from holyhead to thirsk and had to get fuel just before i got home!
