if you are doing one please confirm it will be strong enough to tension the weather gear too and have enough side support to hang some door tops too.

Indeed it is in hand and it's not worth doing one if it won't take the tension of a rag roof.

The old mans locost has been running round with side screens and a rag roof hanging off ali window channel for the past 15 yrs. This was made by a guy that does horse box and van conversions, you have to chose between function over form in some things.
