I'm going to make some more on my lunch break. The more i think about it the more i dislike the idea of packing them out.
Do people ever skip the packers and weld them on with a gap?

I dare say it has been done but I would strongly disagree with that approach, It has so much potential to cause major problems

I just made a couple 1.5mm longer so ill trial fit them tonight.
Were not planning on welding them on until we have fully welded the chassis but it gives me something to do on my lunch time at work.
I did my jig with 12mm holes instead of 12.5 like the guide so if they are close i can always open the holes up to 12.5 mm which will give us 1mm to play with.
