I know this is being re-opened again but in work we use lots of rivets and the place to get sealed / closed end rivets from is RS WWW.RSWWW.COM i have seen them in ally for about £5.50 ish for 100?

what do you mean by the mandrel? is that the bit that is gripped and pulled to "expand the rivet"?

Cool didnt realize Rs did them, ive looked everywhere for closed ally rivets
On another note if I was using 2mm ally chequer plate on 2mm box section would 3.2mm to 4.8mm grip range be ok or would you go for 6.4mm to 7.9mm? Cheers Will
