Disc brake model(taken from haynes manual)

1. Undo or cut the clips that hold the gaitor to the driveshaft,pull the gaitor back from the joint
2. Remove the outer circlip which secures the driveshaft
3. Pull the joint from the driveshaft and remove dished washer(where fitted) and the inner circlip from the shaft
4 The gaitor can now be removed from the shaft
5 clean up components
6 Pack joints with new grease
7 Fit the gaitor and the joint inner cover to the driveshaft then fit the inner circlip and the dished washer(where applicable)
8 Fit the joint,grooves outermost and secure with the outer circlip
9 Secure gaitors with new clips
