[Granny eggs disclaimer], you're probably aware that the offset on PSA wheels is 15-25 mm instead of ~38 mm on Ford, so you'll get 3-4 cm extra track width, and it might negatively impact the steering. Extra load on the wheel bearings is probably irrelevant as the car is so light.

I used to run some Pug offset wheels on our old Mondeo. It cornered very well but steering was a bit skittish...

Yes, i already knew that, but anyway i have bought a set of some nice Ford wheels. I would like a bit more offset to get a scrub radius closer to zero, but anyway you need a bigger budget to have things exactly as you would like them.
