But "sounds" like the fuel pressure is insufficient to me.. and I had not listend to the video the firsts time!

You could try adding a few squirts of easy start into the intake to try and keep it running.

TT, you were absolutely right! Initially I had just a drop of old fuel in a jerrycan. When I topped it up a few days later, the fuel pump buzzed but didn't build up pressure. I disconnected the pump outlet to help it prime. It started circulating. When I reconnected the hoses, after a few attempts the engine started up and ran until I stopped it!
