as a rule there is no point in going for anything more than the head can flow and as for all engine mods for road use you dont want to go too silly oversizeing things
thats why im useing 38mm on my 1800 zetec as i want better midrange power and im been realistic with a 135-145bhp figure in mind

I too Have picked 38mm bodies as they were cheaper than all the larger ones easier to space for my application and looked brand new. 4x38mm has got to be way better than one 62mm. Will post some piccys of my manifold once it's done it's all there just needs bending and welding now for the runners and the injector seats making.

Just got to join them and extend the butterfly link arms and refit the original omega fuel rail once I've made/ fitted new injector seats not bad for an afternoons playing ( had to tidy the workshop up first it was a right tip !)

These are the ones i got for mine and they still fit under the bonnet without a scoop .Mind I suppose it will have to have one to let some cold air in.
