One piece of 14mm OD, 1mm wall, stainless precision tube:
 mated with one bottom wishbone hole:  A couple of gentle taps with a rubber mallet later:  One snugly fitting bolt:  Job's a good un!

looks like thats sorted. better go on ebay and buy some of that tube.
