![]() On the subject of cleaning up odds and ends has anyone used one of these sand blaster things that goes on a normal pressure washer.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PRESSURE-W...item27b0fb2f67 I did an axle case and was impressed. You have to keep the sand away from any moisture so i decanted the sand into an old 20ltr oil drum. A mate used one for all his stuff , he used the kids blow up swimming pool to retain all the sand and crap which stopped him getting his ears chewed off. That kiln dried sand is cheap too, http://www.wickes.co.uk/invt/220201. You do need to be ready to paint straight away though as you can stand there and watch the clean metal start to oxidise . bob
