CVH Cooling Pipes

Completed the cut and shut on the pipe
.
Did another classic and weldling the pipe 180 deg the wrong way round, really nice welds aswell, anyhow have left it as is as sticking up the small bore pipe would have been close to touching the exhaust, it now exits down so it will be a little bit more of a pain to route it but it will be clear of the exhaust.

ANyone know where this pipe goes to, I'm assuming the thermo housing so when shut it just bypass the radiator through this pipe?
