Assuming that the wishbones were fabricated in a propper jig, when welded up, the wishobone tubes would have been set at the correct alignment.

If they have pulled badly during cooling down( They will pull a lot more if you tack them in the jig & remove them for full welding )
The bush tubes will then be badly out of alignment.

If that is the case then being stretched out should bring them back into line
