I know there are ways round it all by making your own ali panels but its grief. I purchased a roadster chassis just to trial fit some of my drivetrain and play about before ordering a ready made from talon.If you want the old mule chassis come and get it Just my humble opinion.

Thanks Bob, everything you've said there underlines my desire to go with the book, along with the fact that while I'm happy to engineer and fabricate workarounds around the rest of the car I'm no chassis engineer or designer. I'm definitely interested in the mule chassis, where are you based?
