I always understood that the fuel cap needs to be locked.Whats the position on it please.
Those deck fillers look good ---if It will get past IVA !

just had a quick look at the IVA manual and it seems that if it is not lockable then the cap must be tethered to the tank or body......see below

15. A fuel filler cap must positively locate to the filler neck and incorporate an
adequate sealing arrangement so that a fuel leak is not possible.
16. The fuel filler cap must either be tethered to the vehicle or be of a lockable
type where the key can only be removed when the cap is locked or an
automatically opening and closing, non-removable fuel filler cap
(Post 0 5 / 2009 vehicles only)

so I guess the deck filler would pass if it is tethered in some way.

Just been surfing on the bay and I notice some of these deck fillets actually have a tether fitted and there are some quite nice looking stainless ones (also a pretty cheezy plastic chrome one )

Am I the only one who removed the filler pipe with the lockable filler cap off the Sierra with hopes of fitting it to the roadster?
