so I guess the deck filler would pass if it is tethered in some way.

Just been surfing on the bay and I notice some of these deck fillets actually have a tether fitted and there are some quite nice looking stainless ones (also a pretty cheezy plastic chrome one )

Am I the only one who removed the filler pipe with the lockable filler cap off the Sierra with hopes of fitting it to the roadster?

I am using the original filler pipe at present. I have to lift the rear lid to fill it. However it is not the locking cap because it was the locking flap type. It works perfectly well but as I understand things ,if it is inside the 'boot' then the boot must not be covered.

Thats some fantastic progress you,ve made , car is looking great

May I ask....are they the side repeaters or side reflectors fitted to your side panels ?
Reason I ask is come IVA time they may not be high enough for the rear vision check, I,ve heard that some cars have failed with them fitted to the side of the scuttle as the rear wings obscure the repeater , & yet some have passed
